Well it has come to pass, another year under my belt. 2018 was a year of learning, and of loss for me. I lost a few friends, gained a few, and learned alot. Not only about myself but about others. I feel as if I have grown, both in character and spirituality.
Not only 1 day into the new year, and I have already accomplished a couple of goals that I sat for myself. At the time of posting this, I have set the following goals:
1. Take a trip somewhere new
2. Get my passport
3. Take a class
4. Save money
5. Take time to meditate and be thankful of the blessings in my life
6. Look for the positive in the negative
Well as of 1/1/19 I have succeeded in several aspects (mind you the aforementioned is not the complete list, but for the sake of this post it is), I have enrolled into a class to become a Certified Peer Counselor with the state of Washington, and have completed my online training and received my certificate of completion and just need to do an in person class and volunteer 40hrs and im done. I am hoping to work freelance without being attached to any one agency and only on a per diem bases.
I have filled out my passport paperwork and will be getting my picture and submitting my application in a week or two.
I have a very megar savings started right now. I currently only have about $40.00 but you've got to start somewhere right?
My spirituality and meditations have taken a step up. I am taking time each day to list the things I am thankful for, to meditate on those things that I need help finding understanding with, and putting my positive intentions into the universe in hopes of manifesting them in my life. All of which I have successfully done so far, and am truly thankful for.
And in May I will be taking a trip from Seattle to Alaska for a week. I have always wanted to do this trip, ever since I was young. My grandparents made that trip for one of their anniversaries and having been as close as I was to both of them (especially my grandmother) I feel like it would bring me even closer to them. We set sail from Seattle and cruise along the Puget Sound until we hit open waters and then sail up the coast of Canada into Alaska where we go to Glacier Bay, and a few other places. I am hoping to see some of the Whales and Orcas that live in my area and some of the migrating Blue and Grey Whales that should be going down to Hawaii at that time of year.
So I am feeling really positive right now about how things are progressing. So last night at the stroke of midnight I lit a candle and said a positive affirmation and blessing, and went to be. So heres hoping that 2019 is full of peace, love, abundance, prosperity, and joy for you my readers, my friends, and my family.
