I just got one of these phone from Yourtelwireless.com and I have to say that I love my phone they sent me the LG Rumor w/ Camera Phone and flip out QWERTY keyboard. I will say that their customer service lacks a bit and took about 4 to 6 weeks to get but it was well worth the wait.
Was it one of the free phones?
ReplyDeleteYeah and I love the phones just the Keyocera Jax is a bit of a pain.
ReplyDeleteThese phones are a very safe thing for anyone who may have an elderly parent, that lives alone. Nornally they are already on social security so they do qualify. I am sorry to hear about the keys. That is a shame, because the whole idea behind this program was not just to give away free phones. Safety is an issue for low income persons. For all of us! Cell phones have saved lives. I live by myself and do not wish to wear a cord dangling around my neck with a life alert button as a handicapped witch. Thus I carry my cell phone in my pockets, or place it nearby. We may wish to write the company a nice letter explaining this glich. However with the way our government is going, it is nice to hear that this program is in effect. Everything that concerns the government always takes time. Be grateful and be blessed with thy own cell phones! If anyone has any questions concerning low income resources for Clallam County or is in need of an advocate in any domestic violence situation, please contact me. I do not work for the state of WA. I have studied online with the ADA. I am an advocate for social work. My profession is Interior Design and you all probably know, that noone is buying right now. However many souls are struggling and do not know the proper way to get free from a bad situation, or just need a person to be with them during their court issues. We have learned it is most difficult on pregnant mothers, who are in domestic violent situations and mentally ill adults. Please contact me, I do not charge 1 red cent.

ReplyDeleteonline chats and customer support tickets. I was told by a tech rep.
that my account along with numerous others were canceled. No one
has yet to contact me about this issue. I am very disappointed with
yourtel.
i recieved a cellphone i'm supposely get the free cellphone but some how i got the blackberry sprint phone its not what i wanted! help please!!!
ReplyDeletei believe with yourtel you get what they have in stock at the time. I would call their customer service and see if you could exchange the phone. Hope this helps! If not please let me know.
ReplyDeleteWOW how about just appreciating the fact that you even a phone geez its free, dont be rude.
ReplyDeleteHi Theresa, I am not being rude. As you may or may not know from my blog, I blog in a format that is very straight forward and matter of fact. Their customer service is crappy, their coverage is strange and goes into roaming when you are suppose to be in their coverage area, which that causes you to have to shut the phone off completely and try and make the call again. The phone is really awesome. Out of the 4 or 5 free phones that I have received under the Obama Phone program (as a product tester) I would have to say that this one based on service (both coverage and customer) on a scale of 1 (bad) to 10 (good) it is about a 3. I am sorry that you found my article upsetting but that is what a product tester/tech blogger/blogger/consumer reporter/ect is suppose to do, give their unbiased opinion.
