There is a place that many of you may not know about, that has a hidden treasure trove of great things, many of which are diabetic friendly. I am talking about a place called Dollar Tree.
Many city's have these awesome little stores, but people tend to over look them thinking 'well if it's only a dollar, how good can it be...' Well I am here to tell you about a recent find. The Dollar Tree is now carrying Baskin Robins 31 Flavors Sugar Free Hard Candy.
Now for anyone who has ever purchased any type of sugar-free candy knows this stuff is expensive. What I love about the Dollar Tree, is that I can purchase a whole bag of this candy for just $1.00. And they have several flavors to choose from which makes it even better, especially because they have Butter Pecan, which is one of my favorite's.
Also they carry a lot of other great useful items, like first aid supplies, and lotions, and things of the sort. Now as some may know, diabetics have to watch their feet for sores and infections. Well they have a lot of different creams and lotions and health care products (all for $1.00) that can/does really help, especially now days with everyone being on a tight budget. They have a Ped-Egg equivalent that works just as good, and a generic brand of Neo-Sporin which helps with healing sores and infections. They also carry a wide verity of Dietary supplements and Vitamins. All of this stuff can help with the over all health process and to lose weight, so that you're not losing weight in your pocket-book, but where you want to lose it the most. Also from time to time, you can find great work out dvds which really add to the fun of shopping at this fun store. Next time your driving and you happen to see one, pop in and check them out. Each one is different.
